These terms apply when you use the Mubin app or the website mubin.app. By using Mubin you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Mubin.

What Mubin is

Mubin helps you learn the Arabic words of the Quran through short lessons, reading, listening and review. We may add, change or remove features over time.

A learning aid, not a ruling

Word meanings in Mubin are short glosses to help you learn. They are not a complete translation or a tafsir, and nothing in Mubin is a religious ruling. For interpretation and religious guidance, please turn to qualified scholars. We work carefully on accuracy, and if you spot a mistake, please tell us at salam@mubin.app.

Your account

You can use Mubin without an account. If you create one, give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Using Mubin fairly

Please don’t:

• use a name in the learning circle that is offensive or pretends to be someone else;
• try to access other people’s accounts or data, or interfere with Mubin’s servers;
• scrape, copy or resell Mubin’s lessons or data, or use automated tools against the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

Content

The Quran text, translations, word data and recitations in Mubin come from third-party sources credited in the app, and remain subject to their own terms. Mubin’s lessons, design and software belong to us. You may use them for your own personal learning.

No warranty

Mubin is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Mubin. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Mubin after a change, the new terms apply.
